Website Accessibility Statement

Searching for an apartment or evaluating software should work smoothly for every person, on every device. TenCMS is committed to making www.tencms.com—and the multifamily websites our platform will power—accessible to all visitors, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice controls.

1. The Standard We Aim For

We design, write, and test www.tencms.com to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Because accessibility work and clean search engine engineering go hand in hand, every page on our site is built from semantic HTML rather than heavy client-side scripts.

2. Concrete Measures We Take on This Website

Rather than treating accessibility as an afterthought, we enforce specific technical and design rules across every page we publish on www.tencms.com and inside our Website Builder:

Semantic HTML & Landmarks

Every page uses a single, clear <h1> heading, logical <h2> and <h3> hierarchy with no skipped levels, and proper landmarks so screen-reader users can jump straight to main content.

Generous 48-Pixel Tap Targets

Buttons, links, form fields, and FAQ accordions are sized to at least 48 by 48 CSS pixels, exceeding WCAG 2.2 Level AA (2.5.8) and meeting mobile thumb-zone standards across Apple and Android devices.

Verified Color Contrast & Reflow

Foreground text and interactive buttons are checked against background surfaces to pass WCAG AA contrast ratios. Pages reflow cleanly down to a 320-pixel screen width and 400% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Keyboard-Ready Forms & Native Disclosures

All forms on our Early Access and Contact pages use explicit <label for> tags, visible focus outlines, and native validation. Our FAQ accordions use native HTML <details> elements that work with zero JavaScript.

3. Why You Will Never See an Accessibility Overlay Widget Here

Many legacy apartment websites install third-party “accessibility overlay” toolbars and claim instant ADA compliance. In reality, regulatory enforcement actions and accessibility audits have repeatedly shown that overlay scripts do not fix underlying code defects and often interfere with assistive technologies that blind and low-vision users already run on their devices.

At TenCMS, we refuse to use or sell overlay widgets. We build accessibility directly into the HTML markup, form controls, color tokens, and media requirements from the start. You can read more about how this works in our Multifamily Accessibility Guide.

4. How to Report an Accessibility Problem

Direct Contact and Response Commitment

We test our pages regularly, but if you ever run into a barrier on www.tencms.com—whether it is a form field that does not announce properly in your screen reader, a contrast issue, or a keyboard trap—please tell us right away so we can fix it:

  • Email: [email protected] (Subject line: “Accessibility Feedback”)
  • Web Form: Visit our Contact page and select “Something else” in the topic menu.

If possible, please mention the page URL and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We read every accessibility report personally, reply within one business day, and prioritize fixing verified markup barriers immediately.
